Anaxis the Hutt, a crime lord from Nalcreeta, that Coruscant Jim is in debt to tasked him to help out a bounty hunter find someone named Aurora Tannen. A quick investigation of her whereabouts put her on a ship to the planet Afek. The players quickly jumped into their ship and gave chase. Unfortunately, Bobacca’s astronavigation skill was lacking a bit and the ship ended up in the wrong system. To top it off, there were pirates lying in wait and the players got ambushed. The pirates had a larger ship and a smaller Z95 headhunter. The Z95 was severely damaged by the bounty hunter slash kick ass starship gunner, but the larger ship disabled the players’ ship with an ion cannon. The pirates made a boarding action against the players’ ship but unfortunately for the pirates Bobacca went on a rampage and killed them all. The ship was looted and the players were back on their way.
Arriving on Afek, Bobacca and Avarice-O went to the local tavern to investigate any leads. A few locals apparently took offense to the way Avarice-O was asking questions about the bounty, and decided to kick his ass. Avarice-O was pretty confident of the outcome (he had a wookie on his side!) but apparently Bobacca wanted to teach him a lesson for being such a smartass and didn’t jump in. It didn’t matter anyways as one of the attackers cold cocked Avarice-O with one swing. Bobacca then retrieved his friend and retreated to the ship. Avarice-O stayed aboard and the other 2 left to find clues and rent a speeder. They visited a few spots, including the mining company office and conversed with the secretary.
